Eraser's AI diagram generator that turns a text prompt or pasted code into architecture, sequence, ERD, or flowchart diagrams you can keep editing.

DiagramGPT is a feature inside Eraser, a diagram-as-code tool for engineering teams. You paste in code, an architecture description, or plain text, and it uses GPT-4 to figure out what kind of diagram fits best, whether that's a flowchart, an entity-relationship diagram, a cloud infrastructure map, or a sequence diagram, then generates it as editable diagram-as-code rather than a flat image.

Once generated, the diagram lives in Eraser's collaborative workspace, where it can be refined with keyboard shortcuts, synced to GitHub, or embedded in Confluence and Notion. A VS Code extension and API let it plug into an existing documentation workflow instead of living as a separate standalone tool.

The free tier includes five AI credits a month, enough to try it out. Paid plans start at $10 per user per month for teams that lean on it regularly to keep architecture diagrams in sync with a changing codebase.
