Checksum.ai turns real, anonymized user sessions from staging or production into end-to-end test suites written in Playwright or Cypress, rather than requiring a QA engineer to script every test scenario by hand. It discovers both the expected happy paths and the edge cases real users actually hit, which tends to produce more realistic coverage than tests a developer imagines in isolation.
Its Continuous Quality Agent runs nightly against a deployed application and, when something breaks, attempts to heal the test automatically rather than immediately flagging it as a failure for an engineer to investigate. The company reports resolving around 70% of failures this way without any engineer involvement, which if accurate meaningfully cuts the maintenance burden that usually makes E2E test suites expensive to keep alive.
It was built by engineers with backgrounds in machine learning and large-scale application development, and the company says it can achieve solid coverage from fewer than 200 recorded user sessions, a relatively low bar that makes it practical even for smaller products without massive traffic.
